Hip hip, hooray the weather man was wrong. We were supposed to get 2 inches of snow through the night, but we got a few flurries, and did not amount to anything. It might even get up to 40 degrees today. We can actually see our driveway and the grass is peaking through.
Now onto family life. Last night the kids, Randy, their Uncle Wayne and the cousins and their dad went to the circus. They had loads of fun and the best part was Alex was asleep when they got home so he went right to bed. One down 2 to go. The girls had other ideas and ended up in trouble because they were to loud and playing instead of going to sleep.
Let me back track a little to the morning. I was getting to go to work and Alex came up the stairs with tears in his eyes and a pout on his mouth, because he new I had to leave. So I proceeded to try to cheer him and told him that daddy was going to take him to the circus. He looked had me so sadly, still, and said, "did the circus come to town". I just smiled and said, "yes, the circus came to town". I wish you could have seen his face. It was so cute. He did settle back on the couch and go to sleep.
All in all it was a good day, even though I had to work and miss the circus.
